Former world number one Tiger Woods has lost one of his valuable golf records to a golfer who has cocaine issues and had been on a leave of absence for the same.

American golfer Dustin Johnson broke Woods' course record by one stroke as he shot a 61 last Tuesday at the Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, TMZ.com reported.

Woods had held the Sherwood record since 2007 and hit that mark again last year.

Dustin, who is engaged to former Canadian ice hockey player and captain Wayne Gretzky's daughter Paulina, broke the record while shooting the round with Wayne and his wife.

Under USGA rules, the score must be signed by a witness, and Wayne did the honors.

Dustin took a leave of absence from the PGA in July after he tested positive for cocaine, the report added.
