Tripsbank to democratise online travel packages space

ANI  |  New Delhi

Tripsbank, a travel packages market place, will democratise the online travel industry by taking thousands of agents, to the device of travellers with the best-of-offerings that can be easily searched, compared and purchased online, enabling travel Agents to enhance their business by helping them source and sell across the globe.

The travel packages business is a high ticket size business that requires customization, personal attention and handholding which travel agents provide, but the same is difficult to replicate online.

Tripsbank is a culmination point for all stake holders in the ecosystem that enables efficiency and delivers greater derived benefit. It is also aiming to address the problem of B2B travel firms purchasing bulk inventory to create packages but facing challenges of remnant inventory.

Chetan, Co-founder Tripsbank said: "Travel is the biggest contributor to Ecommerce transactions in India, with Tripsbank, we aimed to create a technology-enabled eco-system that functions as an all-encompassing communication and transaction platform for the relevant stake holders in the travel packages segment, thereby maximizing their potential in provide/procure effectively".

Tripsbank was conceptualised in 2014, with a vision to create an exchange for the travel industry where agents can present or sell their offerings to travelers, source their requirements from B2B travel firms and also buy/sell within their peer group.
