England batsman Jonathan Trott has said that a great day was ruined for the team after bad light stopped play with just 21 runs needed to win off four overs.
According to the Mirror, a dramatic final day of Test cricket exploded into life thanks to adventurous batting, risk-taking captaincy and the brilliance of Kevin Pietersen.
Australian captain Michael Clarke decided to declare setting 227 for England to win in 44 overs, while Kevin Pietersen showed his heroics with the bat with a quick innings of 62 off 55 balls.
Trott said that the team was still happy to win 3-0 as it was the culmination of four years of hard work.
