Two terrorists killed in Kupwara encounter, operation underway

At least two terrorists were killed in an encounter in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir that started in the intervening night of July 29-30.

The army foiled infiltration bid in Naugam sector of Kupwara in which two soldiers also lost their lives, while one got injured in the gunfight.

As many as two AK rifles and one UBGL were seized along with other war-like materials.

The encounter is currently underway.
