Days after a suicide bombing killed 32 activists in the Turkish border town of Suruc, at least two policemen have been killed in another town close to the Syrian border in the same province, the region's governor said.

Governor Izzetin Kucuk said that the officers died in the town of Ceylanpinar in an 'attack,' adding that the authorities were trying to ascertain if the incident had any terror links, reported the BBC.

The two officers were found dead inside a building.

The incident took place a day after Turkish authorities identified a suspect in Monday's suicide bombing, who is believed to have links to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
