UK bans 'Winston Churchill'

A shoplifter named Winston Churchill has been banned from entering stores in the UK.

Magistrates imposed the order on Churchill, 47, yesterday, after he admitted thieving at four shops, the Daily Star reported.

The JPs in Derby also ordered him to co-operate with probation officers.

The thief from Nottingham admitted stealing clothing, a laptop, and an ice-making machine between December and June.
