UP: Cop beats up drug peddler mercilessly in Baghpat

A police official in Uttar Pradesh's Baghpat district was seen hitting an alleged drug peddler mercilessly.

The video of this act later went viral.

The cop has been identified as Manoj Kumar of the Baroth Police Station.

This comes just days after Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had in a review meeting in Lucknow asked the cops to change their style of working so that the common people of the state are assured of their security and the criminals remain in fear.
