A white United States police officer has been charged with murder after he shot dead a black driver on July 19 during a traffic stop for a missing car license plate.
According to the BBC, University of Cincinnati police officer Ray Tensing killed 43-year-old Samuel Dubose after pulling him over near the campus.
Prosecutor Joe Deters said that Tensing killed him on purpose, adding that he should have never been a police officer.
The issue has sparked protests and debates throughout the US.
