The United States' drone mission on Pakistan is likely to get jeopardized, if the troops are withdrawn completely from Afghanistan post 2014 end of NATO mission in the country.
American intelligence agencies could lose their air bases used for drone strikes in Pakistan and for responding to a nuclear crisis in the region post-2014 withdrawal, the Express Tribune reports.
According to the report, the main concern is that the nearest alternative bases are too far away for drones to reach Pakistan's mountainous territory, where militants of al Qaeda's central command are hiding.
