A Kansas man, whose house on fire, reportedly ran into it to save his favourite Xbox gaming device, bothering least about his own life.
The man woke up during the night to discover that his house was on fire and immediately rushed outside before the fire could engulf him.
However, after coming outside he realised his gaming console was still in the house and he rushed back to get it, Cnet reports.
Almost miraculously, none of the console or the man was hurt in the rescue mission, despite the house suffering 80,000 dollars worth of damage.
The police said that the man suffered only smoke inhalation.
It is unclear if it was an older version of Microsoft's much-loved gaming device, but it is very likely that it was the latest Xbox One console.
