Uttarakhand: 12 killed as bus falls into gorge

At least 12 persons were killed and several others injured on Sunday after a bus carrying them plunged into a gorge near Damta on Uttarkashi-Yamunotri Highway.

The authorities are carrying out a rescue operation.

In another road accident, four people lost their lives while one person was injured after an ambulance hit a parked lorry at Hosur Main road in Bengaluru on Sunday morning.

The ambulance was coming from Trichy.

All persons in the ambulance, except the driver, have lost their lives. The injured driver is undergoing a treatment at a hospital.
