Vijay Goel to lead 'Torch March' in support of demonetization

Union Sports Minister Vijay Goel will lead a 'Torch March' of sportspersons from Major Dhyanchand national stadium to Ambedkar stadium in New Delhi on Thursday in support of demonetisation and digital banking.

Goel will also participate in the digital training campaign on mobile banking for sports persons.

The Sports Ministry has said the idea of the march is to promote the benefits of online banking and boost the methods of cashless transactions among youth and sports persons to gradually move towards a cashless society.
