Rescuers reportedly recovered two bodies during their search for survivors of a massive mudslide that occurred in Washington State on Saturday.
The rescuers also believe that they have located eight more bodies, taking the death toll higher.
According to the Huffington Post, the official death toll is reported to be 16, with the possibility of 24 dead once the other bodies are confirmed.
The rescue operation was slowed down following threats of flash floods and another landslide.

While authorities have come up with a list of 176 people, who are still missing or unaccounted for, the number is expected to change as more people were calling in, after power was restored in the nearby logging town of Darrington.
