Yahoo is reportedly planning to rope in prominent YouTube stars and networks for its own competing service by offering them more money.
While video makers have been complaining about the money they are being paid by YouTube, Yahoo has seized the chance to raise the credence of its own service by offering YouTube stars big bucks.
According to the Verge, Yahoo hopes that offering better ad revenue, guaranteed ad rates, and increased marketing will peel some of those content creators away from the current web video giant.
Yahoo is reportedly keen on kick starting its initiative in the next few months.
