All the sectoral indices on BSE tumble

The S&P BSE Realty index tumbles 5.19% at 10:42 IST on BSE and led losers from the sectoral indices.

Carnage was witnessed on the stock market amid global sell-off of equities. The barometer index, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 1,104.19 points or 3.18% at 33,652.97.

Among the sectoral indices on BSE, the S&P BSE Oil & Gas index (down 2.81%), the S&P BSE Energy index (down 2.74%), the S&P BSE FMCG index (down 3.01%), the S&P BSE IT index (down 2.32%), the S&P BSE Telecom index (down 2.83%), and the S&P BSE Teck index (down 2.34%) outperformed the Sensex.

 

The S&P BSE Capital Goods index (down 3.6%), the S&P BSE Industrials index (down 4.19%), the S&P BSE Utilities index (down 3.35%), the S&P BSE Realty index (down 5.19%), the S&P BSE Power index (down 3.35%), the S&P BSE Basic Materials index (down 4.34%), the S&P BSE Healthcare index (down 3.2%), the S&P BSE Bankex (down 3.77%), the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index (down 4.15%), the S&P BSE Finance index (down 3.7%), the S&P BSE Auto index (down 3.65%), the S&P BSE Consumer Discretionary Goods & Services index (down 3.59%), and the S&P BSE Metal index (down 4.37%), underperformed the Sensex.
