Australian stock market finished session higher on Wednesday, 18 April 2018, as strength in the energy, mining, and retail sectors were more than offset by weakness in banking and healthcare stocks. The benchmark S&P/ASX200 index gained 0.3% to 5,861.4 points, while the broader All Ordinaries added 0.4% to 5,956.3 points.
