Among the other constituents of the index, Exide Industries Ltd decreased 1.42% and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd lost 1.29% on the day. The S&P BSE Auto index went down 11.04 % over last one year compared to the 14.03% surge in benchmark SENSEX.
