At Yeramarus Thermal Power Station in Raichur District, Karnataka
Bharat Heavy Electricals has commissioned a coal based super critical thermal unit of 800 MW in Karnataka. This is the 2nd unit of the 2x800 MW Yeramarus Thermal Power Station located in Raichur district of Karnataka. The first unit of this power plant was commissioned earlier by BHEL in March 2016.The Yeramarus project has been developed by Raichur Power Corporation, a joint venture with equity participation from Karnataka Power Corporation and BHEL.
