Biocon jumped 11.71% to Rs 360.95 at 13:46 IST. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group. On the BSE, 17.94 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 3.39 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Sintex Industries surged 9.71% at Rs 28.80. The stock was second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 80.41 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 20.82 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
PTC India advanced 7.92% to Rs 108.35, with the stock extending yesterday's gains triggered by the company securing new orders. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 14.22 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 1.53 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
NCC gained 5.39% at Rs 93.80. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 21.56 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 3.44 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Adani Enterprises rose 5.06% to Rs 140.10. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 16.69 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 7.22 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
