Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Company jumped 4.99% to Rs 207.20 at 12:42 IST. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group. On the BSE, 8.29 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 6.54 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
NCC surged 4.78% to Rs 94.25. The stock was the second biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 6.46 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 7.60 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
Nilkamal gained 4.33% at Rs 1,691.60. The stock was the third biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 4.41 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 11,000 shares in the past two weeks.
Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation advanced 3.85% at Rs 1711.50. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 1.15 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 94,000 shares in the past two weeks.
Power Grid Corporation of India rose 3.73% to Rs 212.55. The stock was the fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. On the BSE, 1.54 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against the average daily volumes of 1.89 lakh shares in the past two weeks.
