Brigade Enterprises drops ex-dividend

Brigade Enterprises lost 1.4% to Rs 56.20 at 11:34 IST on BSE as the stock turned ex-dividend today, 22 July 2013, for dividend of Rs 1.50 per share for the year ended 31 March 2013.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 84.68 points or 0.42% at 20,234.53.

On BSE, 1,635 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 4,439 shares in the past two weeks

The stock hit a high of Rs 56.50 and a low of Rs 55.05 so far during the day.

Before turning ex-dividend, the stock offered a dividend yield of 2.63% based on the closing price of Rs 57 on Friday, 19 July 2013.

 

Brigade Enterprises' net profit jumped 253.5% to Rs 28.39 crore on 157.4% growth in net sales to Rs 270.01 crore in Q4 March 2013 over Q4 March 2012.

Bangalore-based realty developer Brigade Enterprises has presence in residential, commercial and retail segments.
