China Shanghai Composite ends 0.55% up

The Mainland China equity market closed firmer on Friday, 08 December 2017, as better-than-expected Chinese trade data underpinned market sentiment. At the close, the Shanghai Composite index was up 18.11 points or 0.55% at 3,290.17 points. The blue-chip CSI300 index was up 0.82%, the smaller Shenzhen index ended up 1.24% and the start-up board ChiNext Composite index was higher by 0.85%.
