Empire Industries standalone net profit rises 22.40% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 21.13% to Rs 70.99 crore

Net profit of Empire Industries rose 22.40% to Rs 10.71 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 8.75 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 21.13% to Rs 70.99 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 90.01 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 6.49% to Rs 32.64 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 30.65 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 7.87% to Rs 244.15 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 265.01 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
