Exide Industries standalone net profit declines 5.95% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 11.29% to Rs 1963.58 crore

Net profit of Exide Industries declined 5.95% to Rs 164.78 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 175.21 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 11.29% to Rs 1963.58 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 1764.41 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 11.08% to Rs 693.64 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 624.46 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 11.28% to Rs 7620.28 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 6847.65 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
