Government imposes US$ 450 per tonne MEP on potato exports

The move aims at improving domestic supplies and check price rise
Government of India has imposed a minimum export price (MEP) of US$ 450 per tonne on potato exports with the immediate effect.Earlier on 17 June 2014, Government had imposed MEP on onion exports at US$ 300 per tonne.
