Hong Kong Stocks climbs 0.35%

The Hong Kong stock market ended higher on Monday, 11 April 2016, tracking gains on the Mainland A-shares, on expectations that soft China's inflation leaves room for authorities to stimulate the economy through further monetary easing. The benchmark Hang Seng Index advanced 70.41 points, or 0.35%, to 20440.61 points. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index, benchmark measure of performance of mainland China enterprises, added 102.25 points, or 1.17%, to 8807.06 points. Turnover reduced to HK$58.3 billion from HK$60 billion on Friday.
