IL&FS Engineering & Construction Co update on termination of contract with PVVNL

IL&FS Engineering & Construction Co announced that in the matter of Letter received from Paschimanhal Vidyut Vitran Nigam, Meerut (PVVNL) purporting to terminate Rural Electrification Works Contract between IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company and PVVNL, the matter was heard by Arbitral Tribunal on 29 April 2018, in which the AT has passed an interim order staying the operation of PVVNL's order which has inter alia blacklisted and debarred the company for a period of one year from bidding for any projects of PVVNL.
