Indian Overseas Bank fell 12.43% to Rs 30.65 at 11:34 IST on BSE after the bank reported poor Q2 September 2015 results on Saturday, 31 October 2015.
Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was down 194.94 points, or 0.73%, to 26,461.89.
On BSE, so far 11.98 lakh shares were traded in the counter, compared with an average volume of 1.73 lakh shares in the past one quarter.

The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till 30 October 2015, falling 3.45% compared with 1.92% rise in the Sensex. The scrip had, however, outperformed the market in past one quarter, falling 3.71% as against Sensex's 3.78% decline.

Indian Overseas Bank reported net loss of Rs 550.83 crore in Q2 September 2015, higher than net loss of Rs 245.51 crore in Q2 September 2014. Operating income rose 7.8% to Rs 6939.94 crore in Q2 September 2015 over Q2 September 2014.
The bank's gross non-performing assets (NPA) stood at Rs 19423.75 crore as on 30 September 2015, compared with Rs 16451.20 crore as on 30 June 2015 and Rs 13333.75 crore as on 30 September 2014.
The bank's ratio of gross NPAs to gross advances stood at 11% as on 30 September 2015, compared with 9.40% as on 30 June 2015 and 7.35% as on 30 September 2014.
The bank's ratio of net non-performing assets (NPAs) to net advances stood at 7.41% as on 30 September 2015, compared with 6.31% as on 30 June 2015 and 5.17% as on 30 September 2014.
Provisions and contingencies rose 74.6% to Rs 1557.76 crore in Q2 September 2015 over Q2 September 2014. The provisioning coverage ratio as on 30 September 2015 stood at 49.98%.
The bank's current account, savings account (CASA) ratio stood at 26.14% as on 30 September 2015 as against 25.44% as on 30 June 2015.
Government of India holds 73.80% stake in Indian Overseas Bank (as on 30 September 2015).
