Kharif Sowing Crosses 935.06 Lakh Hectare Mark

Sowing of kharif crops showed a steady increase during this week. The total sown area as on 22nd August, as per reports received from States, stands at 935.06 lakh hectare as compared to 975.87 hectare at this time last year.
