Kuantum Papers standalone net profit rises 151.73% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 17.42% to Rs 163.41 crore

Net profit of Kuantum Papers rose 151.73% to Rs 21.80 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 8.66 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 17.42% to Rs 163.41 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 139.17 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit rose 148.41% to Rs 60.91 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 24.52 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 15.82% to Rs 607.32 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 524.37 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
