L&T firms up after winning orders

Larsen & Toubro rose 1.95% to Rs 1299.90 at 12:05 IST on BSE after the company said water and effluent treatment business of L&T Construction won orders worth Rs 2388 crore.
The announcement was made during trading hours today, 12 July 2018.Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 424.15 points, or 1.17% to 36,690.08.
On the BSE, 75,000 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 1.41 lakh shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 1302 and a low of Rs 1275.15 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 1,469.60 on 1 February 2018. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 1,114.55 on 22 August 2017.
Larsen & Toubro's consolidated net profit rose 4.95% to Rs 3337.95 crore on 11.09% rise in net sales to Rs 40678.10 crore in Q4 March 2018 over Q4 March 2017.
L&T is an Indian multinational engaged in technology, engineering, construction, manufacturing and financial services.
