McNally Bharat Engineering Company surged 6.77% to Rs 60.75 at 15:14 IST on BSE after the company said it has secured a new order worth Rs 51.75 crore.
The company announced the new order during trading hours today, 16 September 2013.
Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 14 points or 0.07% at 19,718.76.
On BSE, 1.13 lakh shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 17,479 shares in the past one quarter.
The stock hit a high of Rs 62.75 and a low of Rs 56.70 so far during the day. The stock hit a 52-week high of Rs 121 on 10 October 2012. It hit a 52-week low of Rs 37 on 7 August 2013.

The stock had outperformed the market over the past one month till 13 September 2013, surging 23.97% compared with the Sensex's 2.62% rise. The scrip had also outperformed the market in past one quarter, jumping 7.26% as against Sensex's 4.81% rise.

McNally Bharat Engineering Company said that MBE Coal & Mineral Technology India, a 100% subsidiary of the company has received an order for works relating to Coal Washery & Crashing Plant for Rs 51.75 crore. In addition, MBE Coal & Minerals Technologies GMBH, a 100% subsidiary of MBE Mineral Technologies Pte, Singapore, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, is also participating in a part of the said order for which the value is Rs 6.35 crore.
McNally Bharat Engineering Company during trading hours on Friday, 13 September 2013 said it has received an order worth Rs 144.32 crore for an integrated refinery expansion project. The stock had surged 6.95% to settle at Rs 56.90 on Friday, 13 September 2013.
McNally Bharat Engineering Company's net profit fell 52.1% to Rs 4.18 crore on 4.6% growth in net sales to Rs 442.68 crore in Q1 June 2013 over Q1 June 2012.
