Nifty May 2013 futures above 6100

Turnover jumps

Nifty May 2013 futures were at 6161, at a premium of 14.25 points over spot closing of 6146.75. Turnover on NSE's futures & options (F&O) segment surged to Rs 186395.59 crore from Rs 134169.87 crore on Tuesday, 14 May 2013.

State Bank of India (SBI) May 2013 futures were at 2356, at a discount compared to spot closing of 2384.10.

DLF May 2013 futures were at 242.45, near spot closing of 241.25.

Reliance Communications May 2013 futures were at 115.20, near spot closing of 114.50.

In the spot market, the 50-unit CNX Nifty jumped 151.35 points or 2.52% to settle at 6,146.75, its highest closing level since 3 January 2011.

 

The May 2013 derivatives contracts expire on 30 May 2013.
