NOCIL advances after strong Q4 result

NOCIL gained 2.3% to Rs 220.55 at 10:19 IST on BSE after net profit surged 143.66% to Rs 50.95 crore on 44.92% growth in total income to Rs 279.08 crore in Q4 March 2018 over Q4 March 2017.
The result was announced after market hours on Friday, 4 May 2018.Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 107.54 points or 0.31% at 35,022.92.
On the BSE, 1.94 lakh shares were traded on the counter so far as against average daily volumes of 2.11 lakh shares in the past two weeks. The stock had hit a high of Rs 227.75 and a low of Rs 219.15 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record high of Rs 236 on 5 January 2018 and a 52-week low of Rs 91 on 24 May 2017.
The mid-cap company has equity capital of Rs 164.48 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.
NOCIL's board of directors has recommended a dividend of Rs 2.50 per share for the financial year ended 31 March 2018.
NOCIL is the largest rubber chemicals manufacturer in India.
