OnMobile Global gains as foreign fund hikes stake

OnMobile Global rose 1.85% to Rs 35.85 at 09:20 IST on BSE after a foreign fund hiked its stake in the firm on Wednesday, 9 July 2014.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 30.62 points or 0.12% at 25,475.43

On BSE, so far 85,457 shares were traded in the counter as against average daily volume of 6.29 lakh shares in the past one quarter.

The stock hit a high of Rs 36.60 and a low of Rs 35.60 so far during the day. The stock had hit a record low of Rs 19.05 on 6 August 2013. The stock had hit a 52-week high of Rs 39.60 on 1 July 2014.

 

The small-cap company has equity capital of Rs 114.23 crore. Face value per share is Rs 10.

Foreign fund CLSA (Mauritius) bought 11.91 lakh shares or 1.04% stake in OnMobile Global at an average price of Rs 34.66 per share in a bulk deal on NSE on Wednesday, 9 July 2014.

Prior to the transaction, CLSA (Mauritius) owned 1.37% stake in OnMobile Global (as per the shareholding pattern as on 30 June 2014).

On 9 July 2014, OnMobile Global said it has signed an agreement with Robi Axiata in Bangladesh to deploy various ringback tone and interactive voice response solutions.

OnMobile Global reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 139.16 crore in Q4 March 2014, higher than net loss of Rs 8.37 crore in Q3 December 2013. Net sales declined 0.15% to Rs 225.12 crore in Q4 March 2014 over Q3 December 2013.

OnMobile Global, headquarted in Bangalore with services in 59 countries, is one of the largest white-labeled data and value added services (VAS) companies for mobile, landline and media service providers.
