Orient Bell standalone net profit rises 29.33% in the March 2018 quarter

Sales decline 1.26% to Rs 200.39 crore

Net profit of Orient Bell rose 29.33% to Rs 8.29 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 6.41 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017. Sales declined 1.26% to Rs 200.39 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 as against Rs 202.95 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2017.

For the full year,net profit rose 194.63% to Rs 40.04 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 13.59 crore during the previous year ended March 2017. Sales rose 1.65% to Rs 647.03 crore in the year ended March 2018 as against Rs 636.54 crore during the previous year ended March 2017.
