Orient Cement standalone net profit declines 28.91% in the March 2020 quarter

Sales decline 12.82% to Rs 654.52 crore

Net profit of Orient Cement declined 28.91% to Rs 44.07 crore in the quarter ended March 2020 as against Rs 61.99 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2019. Sales declined 12.82% to Rs 654.52 crore in the quarter ended March 2020 as against Rs 750.81 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2019.

For the full year,net profit rose 82.10% to Rs 86.59 crore in the year ended March 2020 as against Rs 47.55 crore during the previous year ended March 2019. Sales declined 3.98% to Rs 2421.80 crore in the year ended March 2020 as against Rs 2522.17 crore during the previous year ended March 2019.
