Orient Green Power Company synchronizes 20MW cogeneration plant

Located at Kolhapur, Maharashtra

Orient Green Power Company announced that the Company has successfully synchronized its 20 MW cogeneration plant located at Kolhapur, Maharashtra with the state grid on 08 February 2015. With this, the total installed capacity of the biomass business of the Company has risen to 106MW and all its on-going projects in the biomass business have now been commissioned.

The plant would use bagasse as the main fuel and shall supply surplus power to Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company.
