Quick Wrap: Nifty PSE Index falls 1.25%

Nifty PSE index ended down 1.25% at 3295.95 today. The index has gained 5.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, NMDC Ltd shed 3.90%, Steel Authority of India Ltd dropped 3.86% and GAIL (India) Ltd slipped 3.74%. The Nifty PSE index has fallen 25.00% over last one year compared to the 2.05% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Metal index has dropped 1.16% and Nifty Commodities index has dropped 1.05% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 increased 0.49% to close at 10855.15 while the SENSEX recorded a gain of 0.64% to close at 36212.91 today.
