Quick Wrap: Nifty PSU Bank Index declines 3.36%

Nifty PSU Bank index ended down 3.36% at 2558.2 today. The index is down 18.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Jammu and Kashmir Bank Ltd gained 19.63%, Central Bank of India rose 14.94% and Bank of Baroda fell 6.33%. The Nifty PSU Bank index is down 21.00% over last one year compared to the 4.69% decline in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Metal index is down 2.39% and Nifty Auto index is down 2.16% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 is down 0.85% to close at 10855.5 while the SENSEX is down 0.77% to close at 36690.5 today.
