Among the constituents, Punjab National Bank dropped 11.00%, Bank of India shed 10.11% and Union Bank of India slipped 8.38%. The Nifty PSU Bank index has soared 12.00% over last one year compared to the 7.30% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty PSE index has dropped 3.78% and Nifty Realty index is down 3.49% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has dropped 2.14% to close at 11558.6 while the SENSEX has slid 2.01% to close at 38720.57 today.
