Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index declines 1.57%

Nifty Realty index ended down 1.57% at 275.55 today. The index is down 2.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Sobha Ltd shed 3.89%, Oberoi Realty Ltd slipped 3.55% and DLF Ltd dropped 3.24%. The Nifty Realty index is up 0.00% over last one year compared to the 5.04% surge in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Infrastructure index is down 1.41% and Nifty Metal index is down 1.13% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 is down 0.49% to close at 11498.9 while the SENSEX has dropped 0.45% to close at 38557.04 today.
