Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index gains 1.04%

Nifty Realty index closed up 1.04% at 256.35 today. The index has slipped 3.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Sunteck Realty Ltd added 4.96%, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd slipped 4.95% and DLF Ltd jumped 2.31%. The Nifty Realty index has soared 21.00% over last one year compared to the 8.31% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty PSE index gained 0.98% and Nifty IT index added 0.90% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 added 0.31% to close at 11464 while the SENSEX recorded a gain of 0.24% to close at 38598.99 today.
