Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index gains 2.95%

Nifty Realty index closed up 2.95% at 244.15 today. The index has gained 8.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd added 8.64%, DLF Ltd rose 7.55% and Sunteck Realty Ltd gained 2.97%. The Nifty Realty index has fallen 24.00% over last one year compared to the 4.82% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty PSU Bank index gained 2.86% and Nifty Infrastructure index gained 1.34% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 increased 0.54% to close at 10967.3 while the SENSEX recorded a gain of 0.38% to close at 36484.33 today.
