Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index gains 3.06%

Nifty Realty index closed up 3.06% at 210.25 today. The index has slipped 11.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Oberoi Realty Ltd added 9.62%, Unitech Ltd shed 4.88% and Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd jumped 4.38%. The Nifty Realty index has fallen 28.00% over last one year compared to the 0.17% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Financial Services index gained 1.39% and Nifty Infrastructure index gained 1.38% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 recorded a gain of 0.77% to close at 10224.75 while the SENSEX recorded a gain of 0.55% to close at 34033.96 today.
