Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index records a surge of 1.92%

Nifty Realty index ended up 1.92% at 252.05 today. The index has lost 6.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, DLF Ltd rose 6.35%, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd added 4.95% and Sunteck Realty Ltd gained 1.93%. The Nifty Realty index has increased 20.00% over last one year compared to the 8.29% spike in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Auto index increased 1.67% and Nifty Pharma index gained 1.14% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 recorded a gain of 0.32% to close at 11341.15 while the SENSEX increased 0.23% to close at 38214.47 today.
