Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index rises 1.37%

Nifty Realty index closed up 1.37% at 236.5 today. The index is up 7.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd gained 7.75%, Brigade Enterprises Ltd jumped 2.61% and Unitech Ltd added 2.44%. The Nifty Realty index is down 24.00% over last one year compared to the 5.87% surge in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Media index added 1.23% and Nifty MNC index added 1.16% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 added 0.50% to close at 10791.55 while the SENSEX added 0.42% to close at 35929.64 today.
