Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index rises 2.12%

Nifty Realty index closed up 2.12% at 327.65 today. The index is up 12.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Godrej Properties Ltd added 6.25%, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd jumped 4.82% and Prestige Estates Projects Ltd rose 3.82%. The Nifty Realty index is up 39.00% over last one year compared to the 12.45% surge in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Media index is down 1.95% and Nifty PSE index gained 1.59% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 recorded a gain of 0.61% to close at 12180.35 while the SENSEX recorded a gain of 0.66% to close at 41386.4 today.
