Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index rises 2.37%

Nifty Realty index closed up 2.37% at 274.05 today. The index is up 12.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd gained 4.94%, Sobha Ltd rose 4.75% and DLF Ltd jumped 3.88%. The Nifty Realty index is up 22.00% over last one year compared to the 13.64% surge in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Private Bank index added 1.50% and Nifty Bank index added 1.29% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 added 0.41% to close at 11966.05 while the SENSEX added 0.55% to close at 40469.78 today.
