Realty shares in demand

Fourteen realty shares rose by 0.05% to 4.26% at 10:54 IST on BSE on bargain hunting after a recent slide.

Indiabulls Real Estate (up 4.26%), Unitech (up 2.38%), Phoenix Mills (up 2.37%), Prestige Estates Projects (up 1.93%), Mahindra Lifespace Developers (up 1.36%), Parsvnath Developers (up 1.11%), DLF (up 1.02%), D B Realty (up 0.99%), Anant Raj (up 0.93%), Peninsula Land (up 0.84%), Sunteck Realty (up 0.31%), Housing Development and Infrastructure (HDIL) (up 0.27%), Omaxe (up 0.23%) and Oberoi Realty (up 0.05%), edged higher. Sobha (down 0.18%) and Godrej Properties (down 1.31%), edged lower.

The S&P BSE Realty index was up 1.23% at 2,025.11. It outperformed the Sensex, which was down 0.39% at 31,502.40.

 

The S&P BSE Realty index fell 9.91% in four trading sessions to settle at 2,000.44 yesterday, 25 September 2017, from its close of 2,220.57 on 19 September 2017.
